Appointmentscalendar

Routine appointments can be made at either surgery with a doctor of your choice and can be made in person, by telephone or online.

We do reserve urgent slots for every surgery, but these are for emergencies only. If you require an urgent appointment, you will always be seen as soon as possible on the day of request, and immediately if the condition indicates.

Appointments are usually 10 minutes, but may be longer under certain circumstances, e.g. post-natal, minor surgery or insurance medicals. They are also for one patient only.

Appointments for the practice nurse are made in the same way, but it is helpful if you give the receptionist a brief outline of what your appointment is for so they can allow enough time, for example, blood tests, well person checks, asthma check setc.

If you require a chaperone please either let the receptionist know when you book the appointment or let the GP know before your consultation begins.

Telephone Advice

If you would like to speak to a doctor please leave a message with reception for a call back after surgery has finished. If your problem is urgent please make it clear and you will be put through as soon as possible. The practice nurse is also available for telephone advice.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
